These women have obviously had a difficult life, much darkness surrounds them even now. They are mesmerizing....like Mona was!! I rarely see this kind of deepness in paintings...you should put it in an art show. I can see droves of people conversing around these two!!! All wondering what went wrong, who they are and more. Isn't it amazing where these characters comes from?

Hugs GigglesGiggleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11713143985984314202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27497634.post-45006066185103535802009-11-09T07:48:19.819-06:002009-11-09T07:48:19.819-06:00Oh, I know these girls’ parents, Jack & Jean J...Oh, I know these girls’ parents, Jack & Jean Johnson! The girls are Jessie and Jane. (Jack liked the whole J thing!)
They’ve been different since they were toddlers! Jessie is the oldest but by just barely a year. She is very outgoing, was a cheerleader in school, has loads of friends, and likes to party. And she is getting married next year. To a lawyer in her firm! Jane on the other hand is much quieter and shyer. She’s not been known many friends that I’ve seen. I don’t think she’s been on even one date. She works at the grocery store not too far from home. Yes, she still lives at home. Jessie just flits in every now and then.
You’ve captured their likenesses perfectly, Sharon!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10161411285377899594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27497634.post-59251596508028241092009-11-09T07:00:15.915-06:002009-11-09T07:00:15.915-06:00you're funny....you can do what you want to, i...you're funny....you can do what you want to, it's your studio, right?? hope it was a nice day out...i have a hard time staying inside when i know the house shut-in season is just around the corner....bbbrrrr....*jean*https://www.blogger.com/profile/03325374997441856732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27497634.post-23381924379057797382009-11-08T22:40:49.316-06:002009-11-08T22:40:49.316-06:00sometimes that happens...but i happen to like the ...sometimes that happens...but i happen to like the page ...

they look like buddies enjoying each other in the moment...Mary S. There is body language in the painting not just a presence. I don't know these women, but feel I do. It feels like you captured them on a relatively good day. Their stillness has so much emotion.

Going to paint angels, EmelieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
