Nice Weekend Ahead

I haven't much to discuss. I mainly want to get past the orange and black cookie mail cans in the prior post.

So, here is another page in the journal I'm working on. It's just a simple photo page.

I have a nice weekend planned; however, I probably will not be able to share by way of show and tell.

The camera, (notice I didn't say my camera) is on a trip. I do have to share our camera.

It is the season here in Texas. No, not holiday season, hunting season. You know what that means!!!!!!
Yep, me doing ART in front of the TV. I control the control. First thing I'm gonna do is set up a little card table, my super duper light, all the necessary supplies, and then the ARTING will commence. I plan to finish this gift journal for gifting next week.

I received urgent demand for more cookies. Ashley said, "Elizabeth and Crystal want cans". I had to eat a whole can of Pringles all by myself just now so I would have two cans to decorate. I plan to commission Master Chef Timothy J to make snickerdoodles to load the cans with.

That's what I'll be doing. How bout you?
More later,
Sharon

  1. Sounds like you are going to have some quality art time. I'm envious. Anything done at our house will be done background noise of football games, LOL!

Those pages are great. Is that left side fixed so a photo can slip into the frame?

  4. The journal is lovely - lucky recipient. Sounds like an artistic weekend from heaven.

It's still beautiful in Oregon so I'll be outside dealing with a ton of leaves which are being turned into mulch. Hope to have some card-making time tho.

  5. Hey you!! First of all, I'm beginning to think you are going to need donated pringle cans to keep up with the college kids as the word spreads of the amazing mail art cans filled with cookies!!! You may have started something that will get out of control!! LOL
Second, this book is amazing. The photo page is great and a wonderful addition.
And last, I am starting the weekend chasing Morgon from trouble she gets in to. Pulling toilet paper down to a trail...chewing cords, jumping on counters. She is like a toddler that is being naughty the minute Mom is home because she has felt neglected during the work week. Geesssh...art is going to be difficult this weekend it seems.

  7. ooohh, you poor thing, you had to eat all those yummy chips by yourself. my stomach is growling just thinking of how crunchy/tasty they are. Sometimes I really do enjoy having a day all to myself - in control of the controller. hope you enjoyed your day.

  8. I love your journal pages -- those scrolls are so pretty! And this picture page too. Also love the decorated Pringles can to send cookies in. What a great idea!

  9. I had the same thought as Rella. You are going to need to put out a call for Pringle cans.
