Hi Sharon: you are incredible : ) weekend family guests +++ this wonderful challenge canvas, you are amazing. I love how your butterfly garden turned out. I tried finding an inspirational photo in our local newspaper, found a beautiful picture of a nesting pair of bald eagles but could not match it to any of my colorful napkins, oh well : ) I had fun attempting the challenge - thank you : ) Happy weekend and thank you sooo much for sharing your delightful art. Love to you, Sandra : )
I did it! I actually tried. Which for me, was the most important part. :) Thank you for inspiring me. ~Miriam
I actually don't think I know how to leave a link in blogger comments, but here is the link to the static page to see mine. http://juneblue.blogspot.com/2008/02/i-am-often-inspired-by-prompts-from.html
That's a very interesting idea, I'll rescue the newspaper from the recycling heap and have a look- Spring tends to bring more jolly photos in the newspapers ... And congratualtions on your article- very unlikely I'll ever see it here is rural middle of nowhere, but you never know...
Sorry that I couldn't join the challenge... What a beautiful, colorful canvas! When did you find the time to do that? The photos of your 'peeking under the bed' cousin are very funny and sweet. :-)
I loved your picture and all your colors! I loved your challenge..I honestly didn't find anything that I felt inspired by in the paper we had :( ok, take that back...one tiny pic of a man playing an instrument. today is my day of (so still my weekend) I have time!
I couldn't find anything inspiring either. I found a picture of some buffalo (afterall I live in Mustang,OK) with a fashion statement under it and it all went wonky. They were printed in fashion patterns and ended up wearing crowns and it went from bad to worse.BUT, I did try. Yours is wonderful! xo suze:)
You are amazing...how did you manage to find time? With the cousins looking under the bed and all.
Went to both AC Moore and Michaels did not find the Gel Medium so I ordered some Gel medium from Joggles.com...and some paints...and some other fun stuff. I am determined to learn how to work on canvas.
Love it! I didn't take the challenge, but you now have be collecting napkins.....LOL! Love the pic of your relative peeking.....you know we all feel like that might happen when expecting company....HOW SILLY OF US.....Ha Ha
Hi Sharon! weekend challenge! that would take me a month. lol. I love the detail of the house in the background. the colors are excellent in your flowers!
i so wanted to do this...but my plate is still very full...so perhaps next time...you are going to do it again, right???...love then outcome...and cute little becky...aren't all little becky's cute...i think so...love, r

This is quite amazing! Fabulous idea and over the top napkin!! The size is great, also. Wonderful work, as always.
