I'm still aiming for One Hundred Faces

I tried so hard on this one but just never satisfied myself with it.
Maybe I will have a do-over with her face before I get to One Hundred Faces.

Below is Adam and Eve by Gustave Klimt.
This is one of my most favorite paintings because it was in progress at his death in 1918 and therefore unfinished.

I like that we get to have a peek at some of his unfinished works because of the art story about his process they tell.

I have a desk calendar that is easier to study than this image.
All I can say is there are many layers in all stages and I can sit and stare at them for hours.

And then, I sit and wonder what it might have looked like finished.
