I have been burning the candle at both ends while stirring too many pots on the front burners. However, I didn't get burned by the candles nor the boiling pots. I just exhausted myself.
I finished my MorningART series of this painting in 14 videos. All are on my You Tube channel but probably easier to watch from the first video to the last right here on my Morning ART page.
If you only want to see a "start to finish series in review", watch the conclusion video. The review starts at about the 8:57 minute mark. I think it is pretty cool to see the progression of this painting.
By the way, my stove only has one front burner. And that's a fact.

ReplyDeleteIdeas sprouting in my head.
Hi Sharon, I'm back. Just finished watching all the series. I am so excited because you have given me some great inspiration. I started a wedding portrait of my Grandma a couple years ago and got stuck. It reminds me of this painting at an early stage. Now I have ideas of how to go forward with it. Thank you so much for inconveniencing yourself in your art time to share with us. God bless you!
ReplyDeleteI also did a couple of charcoal face sketches in my art journal and will play this your process.
One last thing... I used to have a stove with one working burner AND the oven was kaput as well. Thank God for the microwave & a toaster oven. LOL
The situation sparked a lot of creativity, especially for Thanksgiving.
she is so beautiful. i just started the video series - you have hooked me. i look forward to watching the rest. hope you have a more restful week. warmly, s
