There is so much that I want to share about this painting. You know, mostly my thoughts while painting. The thing is, at this finishing stage, I find myself without words. And I think you probably aren't interested anyway.

I didn't know you could transfer images with paper, printer ink and gel medium onto a canvas. I think you may have just opened up a whole new world for me. Wow Sharon, thank you!!!! How much do I owe you for that? :)

ReplyDeleteWonderful. I think the butterfly ended up in the perfect spot. I'm always interested in your process and in the thoughts that go with it. It would be easy to imagine you just sort of got lost in time while working on this piece.

ReplyDeleteYou must be happy with this, right? Somehow my eyes keep going in and out of the painting... probably because of the softness of some parts and stronger tones in other. Very interesting! Loved seeing how you auditioned the butterfly, and placement for it. That was fun :-)
