graphite face sketch |
Day 2
It didn't take me long to ditch the paint-before-sketch intention.
My truth after one day is, I just need to show up and pick up a
brush or anything that will make a mark.
true art journey |
On this day I decided I wanted to have another go at the same
reference.
I also decided the sketch was enough. No
paint needed.
First, I journal my daily plan or intention and then I do the art
on the back of the page.

Beautiufully rendered!

DeleteI just love your garden dream studio! I think it's totally awesome! Good For You!
ReplyDeleteThank you Connie, I'm held back a little right now with cold and wet weather. Getting so anxious to be able to spend hours and hours over there.
Deletejust LOVE these words and intentions, Sharon. i was just laughing at myself last night. "chicken or the egg" i vacillate between paint first, sketch first and then said out loud...just do what you've been doing wanda, it works, no matter what you start with, just dig in WHENEVER YOU are ready! i am smiling over here!
ReplyDeleteOh dear Wanda, you to. I always reserve the right to change my mind and also I try real hard to forgive myself the failures. Took me a long time to forgive myself for abandoning the my daydream.
