Here they are. Little supply bags from the workshop.
I made packing tape transfers from photocopies of "Sister" paintings to add to the collage on the bag as well as the little tags.
I just noticed there is a little peep in the background of this top picture of the canvas I started.
I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow and of course you know I will show.
For now, I have had enough and must lay my body down.
Until tomorrow,
Sharon

This WAS a great idea and beautifully realized!
ReplyDeleteI guess I have really been out of touch this week, all wrapped up in myself and celebrating, but I just read the post about your accident. I am SO sorry this happened to you. I cannot believe you had to go through this. It sounds terrifying, and reading about you trapped and hurt brought tears to my eyes. I know you were well taken care of, but I wish I had been nearby to bring you hot tea and wait on you hand and foot! I'm glad you're better now.Be CAREFUL!

The bags and tags are gorgeous. I've tried these transfers uncuccessfully thus far, but I'm going to master this!! The collage on the bag is wonderful.

Sharon, Ok, these are just gorgeous! Your students are in for such a treat!! Now, perhaps after your weekend class, you'll show us how to do those tape transfers....meantime, relax a little and thanks for the "peep." Pat

ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything more stunning. And on a bog...oh my! Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAhhh..the paint chips. You have caught the bug too. You know they are going to ban us from those stores! I just returned from the big drag race down in Ennis, just past Dallas and I was just 15 miles from Waxahatchie!! If you had been there this weekend I would have found my way just to say hello and meet you.
ReplyDeleteNext time.....
Tried writing earlier but apparently it didn't go. Love the bags/tags. I've tried packing tape transfers but mine aren't as nice looking as yours that's for sure.
