Now it is finished for sure. I will list it in my next Etsy update.
Oh yes, there is something weird about this painting. The first face I painted (middle) and the last face I painted (bottom) are looking at me and you too, no matter where I move. But the "dreamer" is just dreaming.

Well I had no idea if what you were thinking, what you had to try to see if it was right, fun to see the trial of the egg.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I had this painting done also and I kept seeing an arch in the back ground, actually a partial arch and since it was an angel, I found a scrap of paper on the artroom floor and finished the arch and it was a good idea. It was just like last week I saw fragments of a dressed woman's body in the background. I decided to bring that out a bit more also.
My husband and I laugh a little as at times he sees images in the trees.
We are fine here in the north mentally and physically.
I blogged to you in blog 2 yesterday instead of blog 3, my mistake.

Oh, you are definitely magical! To paint a blue egg, then to erase it... like you have a magic wand. Who would have thought that you have an 'undo' button in your hands?!! I will see the blue egg forever now, but I think it's good that you didn't make it that obvious. It is indeed an unusual painting. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteWow Sharon this is beautiful and you are right about those eyes! I just love all the colors and the whole layout of the painting!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon........you are a delight and so is your blog. Love the baby bird photos and videos. You are a regular stop on my internet highway.

I can only say amazing - seeing images and setting them down. This evenigng I saw an alligator's head in collapsed cumulo-nimbus clouds!
ReplyDeleteI love this, Sharon--and I love that you painted the blue egg and wiped it off. Maybe I can be more courageous like you! I'll try that.
ReplyDeleteI really like this! The colors are nice and rich. Isn't amazing how eyes can do this? I'm also amused to know you saw an egg. I was thinking dew drop. They're both life affirming symbols. Then again, your work always have so much life to them!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love the faces caught in an egg. So intriguing!
ReplyDeleteDreaming, piercing eyes, a blue egg, tulle for texture...I like this unusual piece.

I love this...I think some spirits just have to get out of you at times...and that egg...wow...it was neat to see and then disappear too...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tricky great piece Sharon!
ReplyDeleteMaybe they are looking for the eggs that the one is dreaming about. They are her watchers. As all your work this one is lovely too.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the baby Birds, what a wonderful spring you are having.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Mary
