This morning I had 12 minutes to paint and that was enough to commit to and add the circus tent. I have been wishy-washy about adding it. You know....to do or not to do. These are the moments that I am trying to just flow past. Inspiration was from the cover on this catalogue. So, with 12 minutes I painted what I could.
I'm feeling like today is Friday as I will not be at this desk tomorrow. For me, a three day weekend is going to be a most wonderful event. I will finish this painting and get on with the next one.
Thank you all so very much for leaving me such nice comments. And please, I hope you are OK with me showing just a segment at a time of this painting. It seems like a way for me to blog which I realize I have become a bit lax about.
Wishing you all a great weekend.
Sharon
Ooo.. do I see a doily peeking through the paint? That's one of my favorite "embellishments". I like to hide them or stencil with them.
ReplyDeleteI've really been enjoying the one-peek-at-a-time posts!
That painting is astounding especially because you painted it in twelve minutes, well done.
ReplyDeleteThis blog came up on my dashboard because I am following you and I am happy I am because you work is great,
But I was just wondering if you could please take a look at my blog and become a follower please, thank's so much, Dan.

OMG! Sharon/Norah, what you did in 12 min is amazing. I think of you often while painting the naiad that I have on my blog! I wonder what Sharon/Norah would do....should I ask? ugh, I am trying to paint waterlillies and I don't have a waterlilly napkin!!! I am fudging and learning as I grow. Also, I wonder have I done too much? Am I ruining this? Onward! Wow 12 minutes...I am impressed!
ReplyDelete12 minutes and yet you show such intriguing snippets. Norah is such a tease!
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful, I love the lacey part in it...and 12 minutes! Jeepers you are fast! The little peeks are cool, I hope we can see the whole finished thing at the end though. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteVery enticing, I'm looking forward to seeing the whole deal.
ReplyDeleteYou keep us hanging on! I am loving it so far...can't wait to see the big reveal.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Like pieces of a puzzle...can't wait to see it all put together! Your vision and imagination is endless....love to see it as it develops....12 minutes!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon, I love when a painting makes me suck in my breath immediately, and that is what this 12 minute piece did for me. I adore your colors and could immediately see that circus in there. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along on my blog btw!;)
