Yes, I was Klimt Inspired

Last Saturday's inspiration found it's way into my Jewelry Journal.

Woke up Friday morning needing to cut and glue.

Gorgeous (but then I am a fellow Klimt lover)....you are so clever Sharon, I just adore this piece!
I have been Klimt inspired myself lately and so many Klimt things have been happening in my world....a girlfriend gave me a beautiful set of vintage Klimt postcards that were her fathers (precious), my sister found me a beautiful set of cards and a friend lent me a DVD on his work....

LOVE your interpretation.

Just call me babe in the woods, isn't that a kind name for the uninformed. I have seen this Klimt before and even have a book with some of the work and always loved the look, loved it long before I did any thing of this sort
So now I see your wonderful art and have to go look up some information and learn something. All wonderful, your art and learning.

Especially needed today as we got up to the ground covered with snow, and so cold. Husband and I did have a wonderful day tho bumming.

I love to cut and glue, So much fun to create, honestly yesterday I found some pretty plates in a magazine and I had to put one in my painting.

If you want to make Easter eggs using silk ties, use google images and you will see how great the eggs are I did some and posted about it. So much fun.

When I come to visit it gets long.

She's beautiful. The face looks like ivory. Have you ever seen the old Frech brass statues that have ivory faces?

Over the years I've seen artists use that Klimt work as inspiration - this is definitely one of the nicest ones I've seen...beautiful work.

Me Myself and I

I love using my hands to do anything. I get lost creating. Painting faces, collage, mixed media, and altered books are my passions.

Digging in the dirt feeds my soul. Flowers are one of God's greatest creations.

I'm shy although one might not know it. I have too many opinions and can't keep them to myself.

AND THEN........

Every now and then, I just need to touch cloth. I use unwanted clothing, cast offs, remnants, unfinished works-in-progress, cloth napkins, table cloths, curtains, and my stash which is pretty extensive.

And then, I sit and stitch. And stitch. Because stitching calms and relaxes me. It quiets the chatter in my head and keeps me upright in the chair zone in the evenings. And that is The Cloth Side Of Me.
