A Gift for YOU

Last Sunday morning, I was rummaging through my huge stash of napkins thinking I would feel or see or touch inspiration. I noticed that I have many duplicates and even triplicates and that is when I heard the inspiration.

I listened to the whisper that said, "since you have so much, and more than enough, you could share".  So that is what I want to do.  Although, I would like to share with each and every one of you dear readers and followers, I might not have that much but I do have enough for several packets.

On Christmas day, I am going to give away several gifts from my stash of napkins and other "special" papers.

Your comments fill me with joy.  I will "listen to your whisper" to know who to send my gifts to.

♥ Sharon

  1. I'm still happy to have listened to that little voice inside of my head and joined your class Norah's Faces. I've learned soo much and gained enough selfconfidence to keep on painting. And enjoy it.
Just received a print of your painting and it's awesome. Soo full of colors. Just brightens this dark winter day.

  3. We all are gifted enough by just "knowing" you, Sharon!
When I want to relax, honestly, I love to take a bath, have a cup of tea and enjoy the loooong video of you painting quietly in the morning. I LOVE to see you painting!
And Towers and Turrets was/is such a joy!
I have purchased one of your digital collage sheets to make a towers-necklace for myself as kind of a souvenir of the great time I had with you both, Deryn and Sharon, and the Towers.
I have made other necklaces with my own paintings and some photographs for my friends and familiy, but for myself I wanted to have "an original Sharon".
    Thank you, Shharon! Happy Holidays!

  4. Hi Norah;
I know what you mean about having extra's and such. I have a penpal who just gave me a little package of extra's and I just love it. It is so nice to receive because you get a little piece of each artist's taste and often times I end up having the same taste as them! LOL.
Thank you for this opportunity - you are very generous.
    Hugs and many blessings

  5. Oh napkins, that is just what I need. I still haven't finished the last face in the Faces in Technicolor class because I have no napkins!
I have really enjoyed that class and learned so much from it. Thank you for sharing your teaching gift with all of us.

  6. I've so enjoyed your Towers class and although I am quiet in there, I have learned much from you and Deryn. It is a wonderful class you two collaborated on...you make a great team. I've never done much with napkins simply because I don't ever find any pretty ones. Merry Christmas Sharon and a Joyous Creative New Year!

  13. Sharon, the whispers have gotten louder and louder as I feel I have grown as an artist over the past year. In part because of the wonderful classes I've taken from you online. The journey never ends and sometimes, artfully, we must get out of our own way and let the whispers guide us creatively. You were my whisper.

    Have a Wonderful Christmas

  24. Hi Sharon. I just met you this year through your inspired posts. I love your art but I think the real reason I come back so often is because of your words of inspiration plus the fact that you open yourself to your readers in such a comical way! I am referring to the bouncing ball video. I loved seeing you, posting as the real you. Authentic people are far and few between.

    Thanks so much!

  26. Just discovered your blog. The phrase, "I will listen to your whisper" sounds so magical and mystical.

Today, when I draw/paint, I think I will try to listen to "my own whisper" to guide me. Thanks for a great post - and for holding this giveaway.

  27. When you first got online and saw all the wonderful blogging going on, showing great art, did you ever get intimidated by them? Like I am here? I've been visiting your blog for at least a year but have never made a comment. Now, I know how it seems that the first comment is on your give-away. But, let me say that I am only doing it because I am in such awe of your artistic talent. Maybe by owning a little bit of "fluffy stuff" from your stash some of your magic will find its way into the box! Ah, to will it so. Happy holidays to you & yours. May all the bright lights of the season get just a bit brighter when you walk/drive by. That is my wish for you. Blessings, Tina
