My love of two birds

Finished and I'm crazy over the moon with the transformation from the beginning.

I'm afraid it is one of those times that I'm left without words.

  1. No words needed. Speaks for itself. So beautiful! Why two birds and not three? I wonder where did Norah come up with such collar? Always something very original in your art.

  4. I love your two birds also and I like the way the neck of her clothing looks like bird feathers and the shape repeats in the awning overhead.

  6. I also love the repeat of shapes, like that sweater and her hand, also so nice how one does not see bird number 3 right away, a surprise in a painting is such a gift in my opinion. He clothes that sleeve, that jacket had to cost a small fortune having such detail and color, yes I love the background that came into the jacket. Your people always have such good taste in clothing.

Just wonderful and even more wonderful you feel good.

  14. The finished piece is beautiful but the best part for me is following your art from beginning to end. You teach us so much.

  18. This is gorgeous, Sharon! I can't believe how ong it's been since I've visited, but I've blogged very little, since I started painting full-force. Between school and the gallery, I don't have a lot of free time, but, since it;s Chritmas, I thought I'd treat myself to some "viisting!" I'm so glad I did and got tosee this wonderful painting. I love the stripes and the birds and the serenity of her face.

    Merry Christmas, dear one!
