Yes I know, I said I wouldn't be back until the Christmas weekend. But here is a little video of the Sketchbook Project.
Your interest in my upcoming face painting workshop warms my heart. Thank You! I'm working real hard to get all the detail ready to announce to you.
Also, just a little tease, I wanted to mention that three of the pages in A Timekeepers Diary will be separate video segments in the workshop.
Expect more,
Sharon
Oh wow, what a treasure---and you have to mail it off!!! BOO HOO!!! It is wonderful. I enjoyed seeing all of your time pages and what you wrote about it. I love the black time stamp too. It's amazing how powerful a pop of black can be on a page. Merry Christmas, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteSharon,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this!
Thank you so much for showing it so slowly and completely.
Only wish it was being mailed to me - what a great Christmas gift that would be.
Happy holidays to you and yours
xoxo
LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteI so enjoyed the video and so look forward to the class. I beleive it will be one of the most fun things I have coming up. I am even intersted in the background work of the faces, colors muted together and yet distinguished are so facinating. To say or think of learning color merge with great skill.
ReplyDeleteThat journal of time is really the prettiest of prettys. Emelie
Thank you for the video showing the entire book, it was marvelous! The backgrounds are every bit as fantastic as the faces, by the way. BUT I am so happy to hear this is a face workshop you are doing (with some background thrown in she said with a whisper of hope in her voice?)
ReplyDeleteHave a great Christmas holiday.
Thank you for sharing the whole book with us. I think it would be difficult to part with such a wonderful piece of art! The Sketchbook Project is very lucky to have this and now so many others will be able to enjoy your work.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! It really has an strong impact when you see all the pages. I'm so glad you did the video! Wouldn't this be nice as a reproduction art book? I think it would be wonderful.
ReplyDeletei have done the same thing. we need breaks but it is hard to stay away.

ReplyDeleteYour book turned out wonderfully! I have enjoyed watching your progress as you've worked on it. And now, to see the whole thing as a finished work of art...awesome!!!

Holiday Hugs my friend!
You have a lovely voice.
ReplyDeleteWhat a privilege being read to!
Just gorgeous. Rich with meaning and the images speak.
That is a beautiful journal! I never know what type of journal to start with, there are so many out there. Can you share any tips on that? What kind did you use for the Timekeeper?
ReplyDeleteHi Sharon!
ReplyDeleteI participated in The Sketchbook Project...I started in Oct...not enough "time" and my theme was "You Stick to Me Like Glue". Your book is absolutely fabulous ...question...the sketchbooks had thin paper, so how did you do your painting and make it look so good?
I finally have time to read blogs ;>...thank you for your visits and encouragement.
ReplyDeleteYour journal is great...love the theme.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Love it, Love it all!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait to see all your adventures in the new year too.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Sharon!! I haven't had time to watch the video yet but I will because I always love them. I'll be back tonight to watch.
ReplyDeleteI love your video, it made me think about time, and how much I waste. What do you think of a journal/weight thing. I need to do something, I can't think of what? I want to make some quilts too, I am scattered!!!
ReplyDeleteOH No! Mary
I was looking at your Sketchbook Project again...it's so wonderful, I don't know how you can surrender it! But wonderful that you're sharing it.
ReplyDeleteOh I loved seeing it all together, page after page!!! A gorgeous body of work it is!!
ReplyDeleteSharon,,,absolutely love your sketch book project. You are so clever and so talented! dix---
