I lied

Yes I know, I said I wouldn't be back until the Christmas weekend. But here is a little video of the Sketchbook Project.

Your interest in my upcoming face painting workshop warms my heart. Thank You! I'm working real hard to get all the detail ready to announce to you.

Also, just a little tease, I wanted to mention that three of the pages in A Timekeepers Diary will be separate video segments in the workshop.

Expect more,

Sharon

  1. Oh wow, what a treasure---and you have to mail it off!!! BOO HOO!!! It is wonderful. I enjoyed seeing all of your time pages and what you wrote about it. I love the black time stamp too. It's amazing how powerful a pop of black can be on a page. Merry Christmas, Sharon!

  2. Sharon,

    I absolutely love this!

Thank you so much for showing it so slowly and completely.

Only wish it was being mailed to me - what a great Christmas gift that would be.

Happy holidays to you and yours

  3. I so enjoyed the video and so look forward to the class. I beleive it will be one of the most fun things I have coming up. I am even intersted in the background work of the faces, colors muted together and yet distinguished are so facinating. To say or think of learning color merge with great skill.

That journal of time is really the prettiest of prettys. Emelie

  4. Thank you for the video showing the entire book, it was marvelous! The backgrounds are every bit as fantastic as the faces, by the way. BUT I am so happy to hear this is a face workshop you are doing (with some background thrown in she said with a whisper of hope in her voice?)
    Have a great Christmas holiday.

  23. Hi Sharon!
I participated in The Sketchbook Project...I started in Oct...not enough "time" and my theme was "You Stick to Me Like Glue". Your book is absolutely fabulous ...question...the sketchbooks had thin paper, so how did you do your painting and make it look so good?

  27. I love your video, it made me think about time, and how much I waste. What do you think of a journal/weight thing. I need to do something, I can't think of what? I want to make some quilts too, I am scattered!!!
