Tell A Story

It's true, faces tell a story. Don't you love to people watch? I do. It is a great pastime because I can sit and watch and wonder just what exactly there story it. For example, this couple found in my or rather on my journal page this weekend has a story. Pretty obvious, they are talkers.
I found them right here on this page. Do you see them? Week four (Friday) at my Faces: All Norah'S workshop is about finding faces. For me, they appear in my journals. And they are great fun to bring to life with a story. It feels liberating to let them happen. Let them be who they are. In this case talkers. Wonder what they are talking about. Well, I know but can't tell you.

If you would like to see some of the student's work from my class, just click here, and here, and here, and here. That is just a few. There are 71 artist who are having a great time painting and sharing and encouraging each other.

It's not to late. You can join in when the time is right for you. And I would love for you to Play ART Together and with me.

  2. I do see the faces in your "before" pages of your journal. The paper is beautiful and I love the finished artwork. I sculpt but seem to always use the same expressions on my women sculptures. You can see some of them if you'd like at http://www.healingwoman.blogspot.com

Thanks for sharing such great work.

  4. That is such fun just finding the faces in the page. Yes they are talkers but they don't look like listeners to me! Especially the one with the wild earrings!
