Yes that is correct, just as soon as I can get the registration information and pay pal button up at allnorahsart.ning, we can get started.
I am so excited to share with you the fun of non-traditional flesh colors on faces.
I would have had this ready today but last night right in the middle of posting the class registration on the network, ZAP!!! a storm blew in and we were without electricity for about seven hours. So I lost all that I had been working on. I'm hoping I will have time to do it again from this desk later today.
In the meantime, let me tell you this. I am going to add a blog tab up at the top where you can click over and read all about the class. You know, what we will do, a little bit about supplies and all that good stuff.
But here are some facts I can tell you right hear and now: Class tuition is $55.00. Registration will start as soon as I can get it up. The class will actually start June 18th. That will give a couple of weeks for the Artist to gather and get ready. It is so much fun when starting with a big group all at the same time. The energy is so exhilarating and inspiring and I hope you will all join in.

BUT, I WANT TO GIVE A SECOND FREE SPOT.
For a chance at that:
1. Tell about my new workshop on your blog with a link back to me.
2. Then leave your comment in this post telling me that you did that.
4. If you do not have a blog, leave me a comment here and tell me that you have told at least one person about this new class. .....or something like that.
3. The day before the workshop starts, I will draw a winner for the second spot from comments on this post. If you have already signed up for the new class, I will refund your payment.
♥ Sharon

ReplyDeleteCiao for now,
Beth P
I've been following your blog for so long but don't know how I missed that you had started teaching classes! I'd love to take this class. I just posted on my blog: Hoping the Randomness chooses me!
ReplyDeleteArgh! Missed the first post about the new class...
ReplyDeleteMust have been traveling or painting or gardening....
Just did a new post with some of my latest faces and a plug for your classes.
Thanks for the inspiration to be more free with faces. xo
Forgot to give you the blog link.
ReplyDeletehttp://rgrdesigns.blogspot.com/2010/06/experiments-faces.html
I've been searching youtube, online videos, flickr and other art groups on line to learn how to do faces with unusual color combinations.
ReplyDeleteI only recently found you and was able to watch the videos you have at your site.
This is exactly what I've been looking for and I'm really excited to find you!
I would love to Win a Spot in your workshop because my computer is so wimpy I had to cancel my last art class because I couldn't access it and I was able to get my $$ back. I see that once your class starts you no longer give refunds and it's only after trying to access the workshop can I tell if I can run it on my computer.
Hope I win - but even if I don't I'll try to pick up tenique by looking at the students art and perhaps there will be a book to follow?

ReplyDeleteMy inner child can't wait for class to start!
ReplyDeleteHey Sharon- well done with coming up with original face class material...VERY refreshing!
ReplyDeleteJust when you figure that you have seen it all and are getting ready to go to bed, something wonderful pops up!
ReplyDeleteI am trying to kick my painting up another notch while working full time and trying to live in the same house with two dogs, two adult sons, and a husband who works nights most of the time. I have taken one class online so far from Jane des Rosier which was wonderful, and I just found out today that there is another artist offering a great class on painting faces in Technicolor! I love Color!! I dont think I could do a monochromatic work if I wanted to! The class sounds perfect!!
So here I am, brazenly posting so that I can have a chance to win the randomly generated draw!
My luck at things like this is usually pretty lousy, but I hope that for once I might really win something!
My painting is improving quite a bit, I humbly submit, since my Gritty Jane lessons. You can see my before and after samples above....Fingers are tightly crossed and I thank you, Nora, for offering a chance to win something wonderful like this!!
I did mention your class on my blog although I had a horrible time trying to link....so I just put the site in...hope that works for you!! canngil.blogspot.com
