Sometimes it is the little things

 Like this tile back splash for the sink in the courtyard of the convent where we stayed.
I passed it many times.



I especially enjoyed the faces and this bird. 
and the colors.

  2. I can see why you were drawn to such a beautiful tile. Such great faces such great color and variety.
    I wonder how old it is? Think of those designs in the towers and turrets so perfect. I think you mostl likey saw art at every turn.

    Then when I hear more I think of the book Pillers In The Earth, Ken Follett and the artful things they were trying to work into the cathedrals in 1113.

    Yes small things, even in the wooded areas the small things get me more than the huge red maple.

    Living to appreciate every aspect is a great gift.
