Heart Memory 8 x 10 original available |
I mean really! The designs they are showing just seems so simple and........well.......ugly.
If I were on that show, I'm sure I would try something like these two sisters in Heart Memory.
As a matter of fact, yesterday, when I made a print of this original painting, I thought exactly that. As much as I love fabric, I should try this in fabric. I'm wondering, would you wear it?
I'm offering this original in my shop now. And did you know, I always make a print while I have the original to compare it to? Yesterdays first print was so gorgeous! I was so excited that I decided to have a give-away with this first print. And call it Friday First Print Give-Away.
You know what to do. Comment. I'll post the winner Monday.

I love your work so much Sharon (you already know that). I was trying to figure out how to buy the original, but a print would be just as nice right now. Hope it's my lucky day!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why I have not seen your art before! It's beautiful and I hope I can win a print. :) I'm gonna add you to my blog list right now.

crossing my fingers, toes and arms!! Darlene
Lovely print...would look great next to Pansies!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the PR this year. So uninspiring, except for Anya(sp). She always does something different. Why she did not win last night is beyond me????
ReplyDeleteYour print is lovely and a classic.
Waving hand wildly - pick me! pick me! That First Print would be so comfy at my house...You should try it on fabric Sharon. Go ahead. Try it.
ReplyDeleteSharon, it's lovely! Also you are so talented and generous! Happy Friday to you!!!! and a great weekend as well. ~Sam
ReplyDeleteSharon, you never cease to amaze me with your creations!! What an inspirational piece...reminds me of the bond I share with my sister. Just lovely...Joyce
ReplyDeleteGreat painting, their outfits remind me of something from Sense and Sensability when they are at the ball and they take off their cloaks. So beautiful. I'm not sure I would have a place to wear it but I think I would fall in love with it if I saw it in a store and probably end up buying it anyway.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings.

Sharonn I love this print!! So beautiful!! and I am a big fan of Project Runway too, haven't seen last nights episode yet but I know what you mean about the designers this season. Still hoping one of them jumps out at me to root for! lol
ReplyDeleteI think this would look lovely on fabric!
:)
Love this painting! Your work is so unique and lovely! When I come to your blog, I feel so inspired.
ReplyDeletePut my name in your drawing for this wonderful print. Have a great weekend!
hugs, Sue K
Just lovely Sharon, and of course it would look great on clothing too. The one episode I saw of PR this year was uninspiring.I guess some years its good and others, well not so much.
ReplyDeleteGreat Giveaway!
Your sisters seem to be wearing flower petals and yes, I would wear them.
ReplyDeletePlease add my name to the hat. I'd love to own a piece of your art.
I also love PR! I agree the talent except for maybe one or two is awful! In fact I have been watching the beginning and the ending only.
ReplyDeleteOf course I want to be in on the drawing for this. I love the head coverings on both figures. I'd wear a fabric head covering like that.
ReplyDeleteDarla
Heart Memory is gorgeous! Would be happy to give the print a home!
ReplyDeleteYou know darn well that I'm in on trying for one of your prints for sure!! I'm thinking it would make a pretty design to have on a shirt, apron or even a jacket! And clothes and scarves of flower petals? Why not?
ReplyDeletei adore all your work, and this one is extra beautiful! would love to hang it in my house, would make me proud! thank you for the chance. xo
ReplyDeleteoh Sharon, this piece is so gorgeous!! I love that they look so much alike (like sisters that they are) yet different. You did that so well!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your generosity.
Your paintings are lovely - I found you at Astrid's blog - lovely work indeed!
ReplyDeleteThrow me into the mix as well! Love these two ladies. You just get better and better!
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday! I really enjoy your work, blog and videos. Keep them coming! This picture would be perfect in my home. Thanks for all you do and share!
ReplyDeleteOh Dear I am bursting with words, you mentioned the Tv show and the outfits, well never in my life have i bought Glamore magazine, (a little late now) but I am so facinated by the pictures of models and the clothing, it is so much fun and I learn stuff.
ReplyDeleteSo I was feeling a little strange when I saw these girls clothing, the reason is I had this old book and the woman on the cover had this sort of design around her head I will post this so you can strain your eyes to see. I was so moved by this I did a painting and I will post that also. I don't want to offend you so you think I rushed to copy, it was not that way. then to top it off I really like my painting which I don't always really really like them I just sort of like them. It isn't rallya bouat like it is about wanting more depth tot he work.
OK talking too much, I want to have a gut feeling I will win this print.I entered the Readers Digest sweepstakes and my gut does have have the right feeling about that either. I saw two young women standing by there car talking today, it was an experience as they were talking to each other and not on their phone. They were as beautiful as yours in the painting.
I haven't even talked about your feathers yet, I will.
OK enough. have a weeking wishing you cooler, rain, no fires.
I am disapointed with Project Runway this year as well...I haven't liked any of the clothes really. I have watched every season and love the show though. I am also a huge fan of your art as well! :D
ReplyDeleteLovely, I love the faces you paint!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Jenny :)
Love your work Sharon...all of it,am going to take your face painting course real soon...Its my birthday present from my sister!!!
