Visual Tutorial An Alteration

Such fun to watch these transformations. It makes me wish I hadn't gotten rid of my Epson with the waterproof ink, but it was constantly getting clogged. I wonder if photocopies would smear? Or laser prints? I think the local office store has a laser printer you can pay to use.

it makes one feel ready to create that is for certain, Very tired tonight, we were in the city. Riachrd had a wrinkle in his macular and today was a check up after the surgery. Doing good.

Bit I found some lovely apers at a thrift today and my head has been spinning and after I sleep a while I will wake early and think again.

One has to look and then look again at these alterations. Alterations also give that sense of artful accomplishment.

Me Myself and I

I love using my hands to do anything. I get lost creating. Painting faces, collage, mixed media, and altered books are my passions.

Digging in the dirt feeds my soul. Flowers are one of God's greatest creations.

I'm shy although one might not know it. I have too many opinions and can't keep them to myself.

AND THEN........

Every now and then, I just need to touch cloth. I use unwanted clothing, cast offs, remnants, unfinished works-in-progress, cloth napkins, table cloths, curtains, and my stash which is pretty extensive.

And then, I sit and stitch. And stitch. Because stitching calms and relaxes me. It quiets the chatter in my head and keeps me upright in the chair zone in the evenings. And that is The Cloth Side Of Me.
