WELCOME to Friday evening at my house. We have a hen setting on some eggs and noticed a shell she had pushed out and thought one had hatched. It was too early so I'm afraid I disturbed her to look. While she was off the nest, I gave her fresh straw. Now I don't know if that will be alright with her or not. The shell was from a broken egg not a hatch.
The daily announcement from the garden by DH, "I brought produce". Today's is in the bucket. Earlier this week is in the basket. I'll be cooking some of it in a jiffy. Wish you were here to enjoy. You can't tell much about it yet but here is the start of a Treasure Map. Son and his boys are coming tomorrow and I have a surprise planned for Tim and his cousins. I'll be working on this later tonight. I don't know how I'm going to finish this up with out Tim seeing it. Might be a late night. I will share more after the treasure is found.
I'm going to cook now. Have a good weekend and make time for ART. I plan to.
Congratulations on the produce! So cool! And how WONDERFUL...a treasure map! What kid doesn't love hunting for treasure. You're so clever!!! Can't wait to see the treasure!
ReplyDeleteLook at that great produce! I really appreciate fresh veggies.
ReplyDeleteLove the treasure map. I do summer camps for my music students and last year I started doing treasure hunts with them during their halftime break. I decided that a map was too much work, so I made a list of instructions instead. "Go north to the first street and go west until you reach the alley" etc etc. They love the hunt, as I'm sure your grandkids do :)
