Page Four

Your assignment... should you choose to accept it: Spend 5 minutes writing on your journal page starting with "I think people think I'm......." And go from there

Have you figured out that I add to my challenge with each page? My personal challenge for this page was to paint my lady without using any skin tone colors. And I made here green.....

with square pink cheeks

Enough for now,

Sharon

  3. Sharon, The white flowers are a fantastic touch...love them! Also the white dot "pearls" for her hair. Now, about your green girl...(green IS my favorite color)...she's a perfect example for showing us that beauty is beauty -no matter what the color. THANKS! Pat

  4. I didn't even notice that she is green... I stared at her and admired your work, but didn't look at the skin color. How is that possible? Another favorite.

  5. The faces you paint are beautiful in any color! These two pages really appeal to me. I like the colors and the repetition of the letters....it all works, and has such energy.

  10. Terrific! Great colors, great face. The placement of the three flowers draws the eye to travel up the page, the white dots add just the right zing. I think I said it before but I really like those dots.

  11. That is a wonderful challenge and the green is not much different from flesh color to me...I still see the face and the features, not the color of it. I also wanted to ask about your name stamp...did you do it and where was I...sleeping, I will bet, lol! The fabulous package arrived and the envelope was so beautiful, I did not want to open it! I will definitely post the wonderful contents, tomorrow! LOL!

  13. Sharon, I love this green face and pink square cheeks. You're such a master with faces that I, too, didn't notice the colors -- just knew I loved this girl and this page. That book of Juliana's that you're using must be super to get you doing such fantastic stuff in ways you've not done before! Congrats on stretching your art skills.
