Seven Sisters

Here they are. Seven Sisters ready to scatter all over the world. They will each leave with a little piece of the "big house". You know, the way you take your memories with you where ever you go. Oh yes, they also each take their "butters". For how can you go anywhere without your dreams.

I will work on listing these before I start the twenty paintings that swirl in my head. You see I received my new supply of canvases yesterday. Oh Boy!

One more thing, I expect to be painting a few more sisters to send out into the world. I'm just saying, if you feel lucky and would like to take a chance on receiving a sister in your mailbox, then all you have to do is leave me a wonderful, gushing, crazy comment. Cause I love um.
Enough,
Sharon

  17. I feel as if I already know them as I visit every day. Such ethereal creatures deserve a lovely home in a magical landscape - here in the Yorkshire Dales I can ofer them a home in a lovely old stone cottage in a pretty village. The pub next door is where Charlotte Bronte used to leave her manuscripts to be picked up by the mailcoach, taking her pseudonym, Currer Bell, from the Church across the road from us whose clock was endowed by the aforementioned gentleman. So with such famous sisters a short distance away, wouldn't one of yours love to visit?

  22. Hi Sharon,

You're new Sisters paintings are beautiful! I would be HONORED to be considered for giving one of them a new loving home (Wylie, TX)! I only had a brother growing up and always wished that I had a sister. Now, I have 2 girls that are 1 year and 2 days apart, and I get to watch every day what a special bond sisters have with each other. It's a beautiful thing!

  37. Everytime I see your sisters, I think of all the great sister quotes out there.

    Love your work.

  48. The more I look at your Sister paintings, the more each face seems to represent a unique piece in a splendid mosaic, a personal door into the Big House, the story of which you'll tell us some day, I hope!

  49. OK I have a sister too already, but we are countries apart, so I'd love one close by to talk to anytime of the day...

  50. Okay, I'm feeling lucky! You know my sister and I never got along growing up so I never really knew what "sisterly love" was like until I was an adult and met a half sister for the very first time. We've been growing as friends and sisters and it's amazing at the difference in relationships and makes me long for a real relationship with the sister I grew up with.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sharon, the sisters are beautiful...and yet ti seems sad to me that they will be separated and living apart....*sigh*....this is what happens with beautiful art -- it speaks to each individual and creates a new relationship.

  56. I was cruising through blogland and realized I hadn't stopped by your blog for like a million years, so here I am. A little birdie told me I had to see what you've been up to. These sister art pieces are lovely (as usual). Too bad that little birdie didn't whisper in my ear a little earlier so I could have thrown my name in the hat! Keep up the good work my friend!

  57. Now this is a story about 7 sisters whom lived Happily together in the House of Sharon.

They all were estatic to here the news they they were going to have more sisters within their family.

A lovely enchanted life they all
lived growing up with Sharon who,
    painted their world beautifully.

When they had become a master piece it was time to adventure out into the world and find a happy home with someone to share their life with. Whom would adore and cherish them always.

They would miss each other through the years as they would live far from one another but they would always have each other in thought within Sharon's heart.

I would be ever so delirious to
have such a lovely sister as one
    of these you've painted!

I have 6 brothers and no sister.

    God Bless Your Creative Life!!!
