Sister Visit

"Follow the Leader"
The Sisters Reunion continues.
They still have so many memories to share.
On this day they talked about one of their favorite games and decided to go to the garden and play.
She always got to be the leader but that was OK, they loved her for that.
They dreamed so many dreams while in the gardens. I guess that is why their dreams are always right there just like a beautiful butterfly flitting about and landing on their sleeve.
One more thing. About the little queen, well one of her fondest memories from home was always dreaming about growing up to be a queen or a princess at the very least. She was always pretending.

Those sisters are gorgeous! I so love the way you use bits and pieces of the house on the bodies and the small butterfly wings just make me smile! You are so talented!

  13. Oh!! Just love it! I love that all of them have a little piece of the house in some way - it resides in them...each taking a different piece of home:)
Love the one with the tiara!! If I had to take part of my own childhood house with me..and wear it on my head...I think it would have to be the driveway ( that wouldn't make a very pretty tiara at all now would it?) Seems like we were always shoveling it....a big circle drive..made of gravel - terrible to shovel. Maybe my tiara would just be a ring of gravel with small snow shovel sticking out at the top for ornamentation….hehe! *Yep, I’m most definitely liking YOUR choice for a tiara much much better;)

I just love the sisters series….can’t wait to see more

  16. Just lovely! I found your shop on etsy, I recognized your work from CPS, so I had to come by your blog to say how wonderful your paintings are! I had a few pieces published in CPS in March and have an article, 'Art at the Speed of Life' coming out in the July issue. Love that magazine, love your work!
