Close Up of Face
Sure enough, I shut down and disappeared again. Can't explain why I do it. But really I have shared so many things in the unpublished blog posts that pop up in my head.
This is my first painting for 2014. I do like her and did enjoy painting her.
Have you had your brushes in the paint yet? ♥ |
I always love your faces!
ReplyDeleteand I always love your visits!
DeleteBeautiful work - The flower and speckles add so much to this gorgeous lady!
ReplyDeleteThank you Michellem! Flipping the speckles off the paint brush is always a big chance for disaster. But I always like the result.
DeleteI love how so much of this is so subtle and gentle...it's like her pretty face is surrounded by stardust or something. Beautiful work Sharon! The women you paint have so much elegance.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa "subtle and gentle" is what I am trying to do. So it is nice that someone recognizes it. It is a challenge for me.
DeleteOh so soft and beautiful, peaceful, calming, EXQUISITE this is Sharon. i too am working in a journal...something i have rarely done in the past. i am beginning to see the assests!
ReplyDeleteLovely, somehow quiet too. I'm getting started with an art journal, it isn't a Moleskin but maybe similar with similar paper. So far I've only used pencil and pen to try the paper/pages. Maybe now I'll have the courage to try paint. I'm always concerned about the pages buckling.
ReplyDeleteDarla
