Yes, I live in a fantasy land. Even if sometimes it's all in my head. Let me tell you what is fun is when the two collide and overlap in layers just like a beautiful collage.
I will be brief today because I have a wedding to prepare for. Oh you know, it is a fantasy wedding. But I have gathered this beautiful bouquet for the sisters to carry.
Standing under the tree eating plums is one of my favorite things to do. Unless I were under a lemon tree licking lemons with sugar sprinkled on. With a friend.
Now what?
Well, I wanted to remind you to visit the Seven Sisters post and leave me a comment so you will be in the drawing.

I am turned upside down. I thought your legs were sticking out from the bouquet. But it's your blue SHOES not blue jeans. I thought MY what a huge bunch of flowers is that?! And where is her head?
ReplyDeleteI've had too much weekend! I love your yard!!!!
Oh the flowers!!! And plums! And imaginary lemon pieces shared with a friend! Yes, you really live in a fantasy land. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't I love to stroll through that field with you? Can't wait to see what you do with your floral inspiration.

i adore the second picture!
ReplyDeleteSharon, I just ordered one of your sisters on etsy. My son was standing over my shoulder while I was looking at them. I told him how small they were and showed him with my fingers. We had been painting together all day and he was somewhat frustated with his results. After explaining the size to him, he looked down at his hands and said "She must have tiny fingers". I got a good laugh out of of that comment.
ReplyDeleteWe can't wait to see the one we ordered in person.
Thanks for sharing your work.

ReplyDeleteSharon, That first photo of the wild flowers with the house in the background....perfect for one of my tiny embroidered landscapes! Thanks for the inspiration! I want to be at your fantasy wedding...it's looking great so far and licking lemons with sugar under a tree....I'm in for that too! You've started my Tuesday off very well...and I'll comment on the Seven Sisters post too. Do have a nice day, friend! Pat at birdnestontheground
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you live in Paradise/Fantasy Land too! See you there :-)
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, have a great time at the wedding.
You have such a lovely spirit~ =)
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to know that I'm not the only one that lives in a "fantasy" world and tells myself happy stories about just about everything! =)
Maybe we really DO live in a world called Fantasy and everyone else doesn't - maybe there are more of us here than we think? =)
Your artwork is beautiful and inspiring!
Glad to see I'm not the only person living in a "fantasy world".!!! I think it's the only thing that helps keep us sane in the "real world".
