Thoughts on going inside myself

I did that.
And didn't even realize it; even tough, I am constantly tuned into my moods and trying to understand.
Sometimes, I get so tired of thinking, thinking, thinking.
Why do I need to know, why?

The other morning, I touched something on my desk and felt the inspiration.
I felt the excitement of knowing that I was about to start a new painting.
I was fully aware that it had been a while.
But I never get stressed about that.
I always know that when the time is right, I will paint.
However, I can't help but be curious about the calm feeling I have knowing when I am "in waiting" for the time to be right.
I find this hard to explain.
The thing is, I didn't realize I had gone so far inside myself thinking, thinking, thinking, that I hadn't thought about not blogging.
I love blogging and I love hearing from you and
Thank you!

So with purpose today, I share this dark beginning.
And when the time is right, I will share a new painting.
♥ Sharon

  1. Can just make out your art only its so very dark to see. But totally understand where you are coming from. Enjoy the weekend, Annette x

  2. So glad to hear from you. Have missed seeing new blogs. I look forward to seeing what you are up to. Can't wait to see the painting.

  3. I too am in the process of starting a new painting - but it's totally in my head at this point, percolating around, auditioning ideas...and at some point pencil and paint will come to canvas. Thinking, thinking, thinking...

  4. The results of your going inside and thinking process will be wonderful I'm sure. Sometimes we need to recharge our batteries. I'm glad this inward time isn't stressful for you.

  5. Just let it out, come what may.

  6. I want to say hello, Hi, Hey, all those things, and I just did, the funny part is I am sort of out of words today, I am yawning and sleepy. I am thinking of a painting in the art room with various additions laying on it because I couldn't resist these packages of beauties that I do and I don't want to use. This is sort of a definition of silly, like saving a top for good and then never wearing it.

Then my mind wanders to the Royal wedding and the hats, how I really loved all those additions women chose.

So I am wondering what you will choose to complete this painting and how it will be different than I expect, even if your recomendations always include expectations.

How fortunate I found some words.

  7. You NEVER cease to inspire me Sharon...from a simple desk art piece to your amazing paintings that flow from you so effortlessly. Thinking and thinking is good because I believe our thoughts go round and STOP just when the timing is right...then it's JACKPOT!!!
Can't wait to see how this one evolves!!

p.s. any plans for a West Coast visit in your future???

  8. I will be waiting, Hugs, Mary
