Come in and see me

Here's my sketch. One inch wide.

16 X 20 Canvas.
I painted this today after spending some time weeding a flower bed.
Our electricity went out and I took that as a sign.
Balance a little gardening with painting.
Hope your having a artful weekend.
Enough for now,
Sharon

  1. Very interesting. The red bow (the lines down to the right corner of the canvas) really draw your eyes in to the central focus.

    Another marvelous piece.

  10. Did you get a sore neck weeding? HA! I need help...I have a very nice paper napkin with ducks..I'm trying to put it in my altered book and make journal pages. I had a bad outcome. How to you get it to lay down smooth and maintain the picture on it?

  12. Well girlfriend.......you did it again!! and without power!! Bravo. I would have been tempted to whine or park myself in the bathtub to keep cool......although I have been known to draw while taking a bath for sure.

Sweet, sweet piece. Her face is really precious. I think you head to The Desk tomorrow happy with yourself that you were very, very productive.
