Violets

Yesterday, while having a Monday, I drifted off with a pencil in my hand and a scrap of paper....to the place where I escape to.

Then the nice letter carrier lady brought me two packages. One was an ATC swap that I was in. That's when I remembered that I didn't even take a picture of the ones I sent. Hard to believe I know.
The second package was from Sandy with beautiful vintage cloth napkins that I won on a draw. Sandy also sent me a lovely little package of paper napkins with violets on them.
You know me, glue it down quick so as not to hoard. So I got up on the lovely Tuesday morning and glued the sketch along with a bit of napkin into my inspiration journal.
You know how one thing always leads to another.........

It has and I'm gonna tell you about it tomorrow because for today.....enough

    Sharon - what a gorgeous journal page. It must've really picked up your Monday to receive the surprises in the mail! How fun! I love the violets on the page, the color is intense and gorgeous.

    Ok........another thing you do to inspire me.....what a beautiful journal. Handwriting is one of my 'special' things....and this journal is so gorgeous!!!

    OK...so leave us hanging. I love those napkins! My goal this year is to stop with the hoarding, and it's really hard for me but I am doing it.

    Hi Sharon your journal is beautiful. I love the page with the violets, as they were my dads favourite flower. My dad passed away when I was only 15 and when I see or smell violets now I always think of him.
    Coincidence... you did this post on June 10 and that was my dads birthday!!!
