Quiet pleased with myself

...because I finished the birdbath base
and
I really really like it.
Next, I have to make a water saucer to go on top.

Have you ever created a mosaic with broken tiles?

    1. Thanks Ro, yes I remember that you have garden mosaics and use to show them. I have intended to head over and search your blog to enjoy seeing them again. I'm gonna do that.

  2. Wonderful! Adding beauty to your already beautiful surroundings. I wonder what you planned for the top...
And no, I've never made a mosaic. But will, one day :-)

    1. I know you will do that one day just like you made those beautiful silver clay rings.
The first effort for a top was a flop and I won't be sharing that. I have a new idea and I'm off to try it just as soon as I go to Ro's to look up her mosaics.

  3. You should be proud, it looks great. Years ago I tried a bit of mosaic on a pot, eventually most of the pieces popped off. I'll leave the mosaics to others like you. Looking forward to the finished project.
