I noticed how much I like the little bits of background I was able to paint in the Modigliani inspired squares.
Collage was the next thing that popped into my mind.
I turned to my collection of Japanese papers.
Love what it added to my board of
One Hundred Faces.

Yesterday was a good day!
And I cannot believe that here we are again on a Friday.
And it is Spring!

I love, love the collage with the faces!! Wonderful
ReplyDeleteOh My!!! Your faces inspire me!!! And I want to do fun colorful, collage-y faces....these are wonderful!!! I hope you are scannning each one so you can have collages of the faces for your future work....they are priceless!!!
ReplyDeleteThe bits of collage are amazing!! Your project is turning into one of my most favorite art projects - ever!!
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU Sharon for all your positive words this morning on zee blog. I truly learned more than ever! and it happened to be a great push for me too; (if you don't create one item today, at least do a tiny face) and it got me over a hump as well. I figured out a lot of important issues about myself and others, as to what life throws us, and heading it off with creativity that doesn't seem to be there when one REALLY NEEDS it, for so many reasons...you shall hear me cheering loudly before and after you get to the finish line. GRATEFUL heart for your "sharings"!
ReplyDeleteModigliani is so to my taste, wonderful to see your take of it! ManonX
ReplyDeleteI really admire you for doing this project, Sharon. I don't know how you do it..you must have good eyesight. :) I'm cheering you on from the sidelines.
ReplyDeleteThanks to every one of you! Wanda says I will hear her cheering loudly but the fact is I hear all of you and your words feels like loud cheers and I love that.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you all.
Thanks
