Don't Mind Me

Yesterday was a good day.
For the first time, I painted two faces.
I guess that means my plan "to get me to the art table" is working.
The fact is, I fear I am getting bored with my project and though
I won't quit, I do think of ways to speed up.
Like painting two each day.
Or maybe three each day.

One Hundred Faces
Face No 20
Faces 20 and 21 as well as several others are crops of Modigliani portraits of his common law wife, Jeanne-e-Hebuterne.

One Hundred Faces
Face No 21
He painted her so often.
Obviously, she is the one with the long nose and tiny eyes that influenced his style that we recognize.

Don't mind me, that's just me and my opinon.
That is the kind of mumbling that goes through my head while spending an hour and a half painting a 3/4 inch square portrait.
One or the other proves my insanity.
The painting. Or. The thinking.
