Cookie Fortune

Don't you love cookie fortunes?

They are great reminders sometimes.

I have versatility. A good "Good Fortune".

And you get lucky numbers too.

Here she is. Boy, I really enjoyed painting the bamboo. Only took about two seconds and that is why I'm showing this close up. My camera caught the metallic I used.
I like.

I used more of the same napkin on the left side. The same as the first two pages.

See the butterflies. The one on her shoulder is a transparency. The one on the left side is a transparency transfered. Just thought you'd want to know.

Enjoy, I put the finished complete spread down at the bottom thinking I could see both the before and after together on the blog. We'll see.
More later,
Sharon

  1. Oh my, those saturated colors! Great page. What did you use to make circle that looks like a stamp cancellation?

  7. Your page is SO beautiful! And I know what you mean about the bamboo. It looks quite precious and I'm sure it was fun to paint. I love metallic and pearlescent paints. Sharon, I think I want to take drawing classes from you!

  8. Wow! She is fantastic! What a difference that close-up shot makes to see the metallic! I can't imagine how much more gorgeous all your work has to be in person...it is absolutely amazing online, but I know that photos never show the true depth/beauty of a piece... smiles!

  11. I'm visiting today for a bit. My typical flutterby mania is in full steam..little of this and a little of that, nothing accomplihed..so it's time to visit Sharon and look at some of the beautiful art here. this journal is so stunning I had to come back and look. It's prettier than anything I've ever seen in a book store or botique. The Asian face is strong and soft at the same time. I love her. Put some coffee on girlfriend, I'm coming over.
